The Winter Conference of the Caucus will be held in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, Dec. 2. We will be meeting at the Democratic Vote Center at 1700 N. Andrews Ave. This will be the final event at the Vote Center before it's closing. It's your last chance to come see what we managed to put together in Broward County this year and what we'd like to duplicate in other areas in 2008. We've kept the conference registration fee low, only $25.00 for advance registration.

Our Winter Conference will be preceeded by a joint statewide reception with the FLorida GLBT Democratic Caucus and the Board of Directors of National Stonewall Democrats on Friday evening, December 1.

The reception will be held at the Galleria One Double Tree Hotel, 2670 E. Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. There will be a VIP reception from 6:00pm-7:00pm and a General reception from 7:00pm-9:00pm.

We will also be meeting in conjunction with the Board of Directors meeting of the National Stonewall Democrats. Saturday morning will be separate meetings of the Board of Directors of NSD and the Caucus. Caucus members are invited to sit in on the Caucus Board meeting.

The afternoon session will be a joint meeting and will have several speakers, including our own Ken Keechl, Broward County's newest Commissioner and Broward County Sheriff Ken Jenne. Watch this space as additional speakers are announced.
