Equal Benefits Ordinance passed in Oakland Park

From Jack Doren
I am so happy to announce that the Equal Benefits Ordinance has now, at tonight's Commission Meeting, officially fully passed in Oakland Park. It passed this "Second Reading" unanimously. It applies to companies with 25 or more full-time employees and for contracts over $100,000. There are additional exemptions, basically comparable to the Broward County EBO.

Oakland Park thereby becomes the fourth to pass such an ordinance in Florida, following Broward County, Key West, and Miami Beach.
