Endorsements 2021

Endorsement Meeting – Tuesday, August 14, 2021

The Dolphin Democrats will be hosting a special membership meeting to endorse a candidate to State House D94 and a candidate to State House D33.

This meeting will take place via Zoom on Tuesday, August 14 at 7:00pm.   The meeting will last between 15-30 minutes.  A registration link has been emailed to all voting members.

The Primary Election for this two seat will take place on Tuesday, January 11, 2021.  That same day will also be the General Election for U.S. Congress D23.

Board of Directors Election

On Wednesday, February 10, 2021 the members of The Dolphin Democrats Elected Alfredo Olvera as President and Nik Harris as Vice-President for a second term expiring in 2023.  At the same meeting the members also elected Tina Jaramillo to Secretary, Hillary Dougherty to Treasurer.  In addition Emma Collum, Grecia Rivas-Smith, Lorenzo Robertson, Adam Sabin, Vanessa Villaverde, Nick Zantop and Jose Cedeno were elected as Directors.

We are all excited to see the board continuing their political work on behalf of LGBTQ+ Democrats in Broward County. Congratulations to all.
