The Nominating Committee will be accepting nominations for the positions coming available in 2024, 30 days before elections. Caucus Members with active paid Memberships as of January 6, 2024 (40 days before the Annual Meeting) and with paid-up Memberships at the time of the Annual Meeting on February 14, 2024, at 7:00 pm are eligible to run for the Board of Directors positions.
All voting members must be registered Democrats living in Broward County and provide proof of current voter registration.
Nominations from the floor will be accepted at the January 10, 2024 meeting and at the Annual Meeting on February 14, 2024.
Candidates are encouraged to send a brief narrative statement of no more than 200 words including relevant background, skills, and interests along with a picture to be posted on the Dolphin Democrats website before the February meeting. Letters of endorsement may be included for the committee’s use, but will not be distributed by the Committee.
To be published in the Dolphin Democrats emails, nominations, statements, and pictures must be received by the Committee no later than Monday, February 3, 2024. Nominations may be emailed to Chair of the Nominating Committee, Jason Gad Treasurer @DolphinDems.org
