The Dolphin Democrats will hold a Board of Directors election and municipal candidate endorsement at their Annual Membership Meeting on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 7:00pm at The Pride Center located at 2040 Dixie Hwy. Wilton Manors, FL.
Board of Directors Election
Members will vote to elect the following:
4 Directors: Each for a 2-year term ending February, 2026
Secretary: Term ending February, 2025
President & Vice-President: Term ending February, 2025
Endorsements
At the Feb 14th Annual Membership Meeting, Dolphin Democrat members will vote to endorse Democrats running for office in Hillsboro Beach, Lazy Lake, Lighthouse Pointe, Lauderdale-by-The-Sea, Pembroke Pines & Sea Ranch Lakes.
As per the bylaws, we can only endorse one candidate per seat. To be considered, a candidate must be a registered Democrat, complete the endorsement questionnaire, and attend the endorsement meeting. To win the endorsement, a candidate must receive ⅔ of all votes counted. Candidates participating in the endorsement process are not required to be Dolphin Democrats members. Completed candidate questionnaires will be emailed to all voting members at least 10 days before the endorsement meeting.

Existing 2023 Members: You must renew your membership for 2024 before the Annual Membership meeting begins on February 14, 2024.
New Members: You must become a “Voting Member” by Saturday, January 6, 2024.
To be a Dolphin Democrats voting member you must be a Democrat registered to vote in Broward County.
