On behalf of the Board of Directors, I’m honored to invite you to the Dolphin Democrats 43rd Annual Awards Gala & Silent Auction, taking place on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Westin Fort Lauderdale (400 Corporate Drive).

This isn’t just a gala—it’s a declaration of our values, a call for justice, and a tribute to resistance.

This year, our gathering takes on even greater significance. We will be celebrating during Pride Month and on the 56th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, the uprising that sparked the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. We celebrate in honor of those who rose up, fought back, and paved the way for every right we hold today. And we gather in their spirit, as the fight continues.

Let’s be clear: the attacks haven’t stopped, they’ve escalated. Florida has become a laboratory for cruelty, banned books, censored history, attacks on LGBTQ+ youth, and the criminalization of abortion. And now, Trump is plotting a return, fueled by vengeance and authoritarianism.

This isn’t politics as usual—it’s a full-blown assault on our rights, our families, and our democracy.

This Gala is our line in the sand. It’s about power, preparation, and people. The fight for 2026 starts now.
