The Dolphin Democrats will elect ten members to the Board of Directors for two year terms at the Annual Meeting on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 7:30 PM.  The open offices are President and Vice President (they must be different genders and nominated together). Also, open positions include Secretary, Treasurer, and six Directors.


The Nominating and Election Committee is now accepting nominations for these positions.  Club Members with active paid Memberships as of December 25, 2016 (45 days prior to the Annual Meeting) and with paid-up Memberships at the time of the Annual Meeting on February 8, 2017 at 7:30 PM are eligible to run for the Board of Directors positions.  All voting members must be registered Democrats.


Nominations from the floor will be taken at the Holiday Party on December 14, 2016, at the meeting on January 11, 2017 and at the Annual Meeting on February 8, 2017.

Candidates are encouraged to send a brief narrative statement of no more than 200 words including relevant background, skills and interests along with a picture to be posted on the Dolphin Democrats website prior to the February meeting. Letters of endorsement may be included for the committee’s use, but will not be distributed by the Committee.
