Dear Members,
Today, May 1st, Women in Florida will be subjected to a cruel and dangerous abortion ban throughout the state. With a 6 week abortion ban the Florida legislature has effectively banned women from having control of their body before most women will ever know they’re pregnant. Not only will this ban harm women in Florida it endangers the life of any woman in the South who would have traveled to Florida for abortion access.
Make no mistake former President Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that he is “the President that ended Roe”, and this danger and damage to women fall squarely on his and the Republicans’ shoulders. There will be a reckoning this election season and we must use our votes to firmly oppose this.
The Dolphin Democrats stand firmly behind the incredible women fighting for their bodily freedom in Florida and will be voting YES on FOUR this November.
